High school football: Kanab Cowboys 2012 preview

Bottom line: It could be a season of change for the Kanab Cowboys. After a couple years of getting used to the world of 2A football, the Cowboys could be back to their old form this fall, especially now that the number of filled roster spots is higher than what it's been.

Felt’s Factoid(s): Kanab was the last team to shut out every playoff opponent. The Cowboys whitewashed all three opponents in capturing the 1986 Class 1A title. ... Cowboy Bob Ramsey returned six punts for touchdowns during the 1971 season to set a state record.
