SALT LAKE CITY — A 30-year-old woman suffered several broken bones after rolling her vehicle when she apparently fell asleep at the wheel.
Shelli Bolton, of Tooele, crashed on I-80 near 8300 West about 8:15 a.m. Friday. The Utah Highway Patrol found skid marks on the rumble strips on the right side of the road, and believe she then over-corrected, causing the vehicle to roll.
Bolton was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, according to the UHP. She told police she believes she fell asleep while driving. She was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
