Midvale celebration hopes to help participants in 'Harvesting Your Dreams'
Midvale festival themed: 'Harvesting Your dreams'
While fall marks the time of year to harvest crops, Midvale will celebrate its harvest days with a theme of "Harvesting Your Dreams." In its 74th year, with the first celebration held in 1938, this Utah community celebration will be held from Aug. 6 through the 11.
Although this year will be its first with a children's parade, the fair's traditional games in the park, 5K run, neighborhood block parties and fireworks will all also be on the agenda.
The week will be filled with family fun activities, including a family kick ball tournament, car show, pancake breakfast, art show and "So You Think You Can Dance Midvale," where residents can show off their fancy footwork.
