Benson Grist Mill hosting free event for kids

The Benson Grist Mill site has become a new home for old structures from around Tooele County, including a cabin used as a rug-making craft shop with a working loom, as demonstrated by guide and historian Kathy Johnson.

STANSBURY PARK, Tooele County — Families can come learn about the pioneers and play the games the pioneer children played at Benson Grist Mill on Thursday, July 19.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and admission is free.

Children ages 12 and under can join in activities and games. For more information, contact the Benson Grist Mill at 435-882-7678.
