Freedom video: I have to pull this perfectly themed Mormon Messages video on “The Freedom To…” from a few years back to share with you this Fourth of July. I love how it features families from all over the world, and yet it would be a lovely thing to take a moment to enjoy with your family sometime today. Please watch.

Fourth food: I had to stop by Our Best Bites to see what “Independence Day” recipes these ladies were currently featuring. And I wasn’t disappointed to find red, white, and blue food in the form of layered trifle, layered punch, layered gelatin and much more (not all layered). Mmm!

Fun nails: I thought this blogger’s tutorial on how to make “Easy Independence Day Nails” looked fun and festive. And did I mention, it didn’t take more than a few colors and some simple strokes. Click in to learn how!
