Utah athletics director Chris Hill joined ESPN 700's "Bill and Hans Show" on Thursday, noting that he spoke with BYU's Tom Holmoe earlier in the day. The future of the Rivalry Game, though, was something Hill was evasive about discussing in detail.

Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott also joined Bill and Hans. Scott said he's pleased with the new college football playoff system.

— ESPN.com reports that the Rose Bowl's future playoff role has yet to be determined.

Jamal Anderson's attorney insists the former Ute is not guilty of a DUI.

Stanford led a strong Pac-12 showing by winning the Directors' Cup.
