BYU is hoping to land the nation's No. 1 basketball player, Jabari Parker.
Parker has said the Cougars are on his list of potential destinations. He told ESPN.com that he likes BYU coach Dave Rose.
"Parker said he feels a connection with Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski, Dave Rose of Brigham Young and Stanford's Johnny Dawkins, though Parker has yet to narrow his list or set recruiting visits for the fall," Mitch Sherman writes.
Parker is ranked No. 1 on ESPN's 2013 Top 100 prep players list, and Lone Peak star Nick Emery, who has commited to BYU, is ranked No. 49.
Finally, ten BYU rugby players have been named All-Americans.

@utacountyute
Completely false. You just hope he doesn't go to BYU, nothing else he does matters in the slightest to you. Typical ute "fan" double speak.
If he helps a top 5 program win what they've already won, he's part of a dynasty, nothing more.
If he helped BYU win an NC, he IS the dynasty. Nothing less.
And he has TWO chances - one before his mission, one
Ssssssshhhhhhh.......Don't tell any ute fans. They need all the sleep they can get.
