Reilly was given a scholarship offer following his visit and decided to commit to BYU coaches a couple of days after returning home. He'll arrive in Provo on June 18 and pay his own way before receiving a scholarship this coming January. Due to NCAA transfer rules, he'll sit out a full year before playing.
So what about Utah? Surely joining up with his brother was an attractice prospect, with Ute coaches expressing interest in extending an offer.
"Trevor obviously wanted me up there playing with him, and I thought about that a lot," Drew Reilly said. "I just found everything I was looking for with BYU, and Trevor is happy for me. He'd obviously love to have me up there with him, but more than anything, he wants what is best for me. We're very close, and he's excited that I found a place to play where I can fit in and acheive all of my goals."

CSU's coach knows that it's about the players...bottom line. Reilly had sincere reasons for wanting to transfer, so I congratulate CSU's coach for keeping his players' best interest in mind.
it's too bad that Norm Chow doesn't have the class of the CSU coach!
Before any of my blue brethren embarrass themselves, obviously the U is a place where a faithful football player can find spiritual fulfillment. This one worked out well for us.
Courageously done! Hope to hear good things about you in More..
