WEBER 1, COPPER HILLS 0: Colby Huerta found the back of the net in the 70th minute to propel Weber over Copper Hills.

MORGAN 6, BEAR RIVER 1: Josh Abplanalp and Jakob Freestone each found the back of the net twice as the Trojans defeated the Bears. In the loss, Tanner Porter netted the lone goal for Bear River.

BINGHAM 0, MURRAY 0: A very fast-paced game led to a double-overtime draw. Keepers Mark Stanley for Bingham and Tanner Critchfield for Murray came up big down the stretch with many key saves for their teams.

OGDEN 2, BEN LOMOND 1: Cesar Guillen and Carlos Rodriguez each scored a goal as Ogden edged Ben Lomond on the road.

SPRINGVILLE 0, PROVO 0: Provo outshot the Red Devils 25 to 2, but keeper Collin Pope for Springville managed to keep the game scoreless. Carlos Uriel earned the shutout for the Bulldogs.

REGION 1

LAYTON 6, VIEWMONT 4: The Lancers defeated Viewmont in region play. In the loss, Caitlyn Larsen hit a double and a home run.

SYRACUSE 12, WEBER 2: The Titans scored 12 runs off 13 hits to defeat Weber in the Region 1 matchup. Bailley Carter contributed a home run for Syracuse, while Alex Valencia earned the win on the mound.

FREMONT 17, NORTHRIDGE 6: Fremont rallied for 14 runs in the fifth and sixth innings to blow past Northridge on the road. Bailey Pierce smacked two homers, while Ryley Ball also went yard and roped a double in the win.

REGION 5

BONNEVILLE 9, SKY VIEW 3: Andrea Hancock hit a double, a home run, and earned the win on the mound in the Lakers win over Sky View.

REGION 6

BOUNTIFUL 6, WOODS CROSS 4: Mckenna Alley pitched the win for the Braves. In the loss, Hayden Flygare and Hanalee Robinson each roped a home run.

EAST 11, CLEARFIELD 10: Down five heading into the final inning, Kuea Angilau started off the bottom of the seventh with a homer, and Laina Suesue roped a walk-off home run to help East rally and edge Clearfield in the back-and-forth affair. Alexis Moeaki also went yard for the Leopards, while Michelle Thomas picked up the win in the circle.

CYPRUS 4, KEARNS 2: Cyprus scored all of its runs in the fourth and fifth innings to knock off Kearns at home. Sydney Empey pitched the win from the circle.

CORNER CANYON 6, SKYLINE 2: The Chargers broke the game open in the fifth inning to secure the region win over Skyline.

MURRAY 14, MOUNTAIN VIEW 1: Murray rallied for seven runs in the third inning and racked up 12 hits, five of which went for extra bases, to blow past Mountain View. Vanessa Brambila picked up the win from the circle and roped a double to lead the Lady Spartans in the win.

REGION 8

SPRINGVILLE 7, WASATCH 0: Kaycie Jensen smacked a double and pitched the win from the circle, fanning 16 batters in the process. Kristy Snyder went 3-for-4 from the plate, hitting a double and a home run, and had two RBIs in the Red Devils victory over Wasatch.

SPANISH FORK 18, TIMPVIEW 3: Spanish Fork scored 14 runs in the final two innings to blow past Timpview at home. Brooke Davis smacked a homer and Kaitlyn Bean pitched the win to lead the Dons.

REGION 9

SNOW CANYON 5, CANYON VIEW 3: Heather Prestwich pitched the win while Madison Mooring smacked a triple and Lauren Smith roped a double to power Snow Canyon past Canyon View. Jaycee Slack went yard in the narrow loss.
