VALLEY 82, MILFORD 62: Coleman Sorensen picked up 19 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead the Buffaloes in the Region 20 victory over Milford. In the loss, Jalen Hardy led all scorers with 23 points.
BRYCE VALLEY 63, WAYNE 62: Kix Roundy and Daxton Tebbs each scored 16 points as Bryce Valley edged the Badgers on the road. Broc Taylor led Wayne with 21 points in the loss, and Mark Simmons earned a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds.
BRYCE VALLEY 39, PIUTE 38: Ashlee Chynoweth hit the go-ahead free throw with 39.2 seconds remaining and then the Bryce Valley defense stood strong in Piute's last-second layup attempt. Chynoweth finished with 10 points and Samantha Chynoweth led the Mustangs with 12 points. Sisters Kierra Gleave and Shaylee Gleave scored 12 points apiece for the T-Birds.
ST. JOSEPH 42, WAYNE 32: Jessica Bischoff scored 11 points, nine of which came in the second half, to push St. Joseph into the semifinal round. Courtney Jackson tallied a game-high 13 points, including shooting 9 for 10 from the foul line, for Wayne in the loss.
PANGUITCH 70, WHITEHORSE 42: The Bobcats burst out of the gates and outscored Whitehorse by 39 points with a dominating first-half performance. Darri Frandsen led the way with 18 points, Whittni Orton scored 15, and Catania Holman added 12. Raphaela Filfred had a game-high 26 points for Whitehorse in the loss.
MILFORD 63, GREEN RIVER 26: Chandler Rose scored 17 points and Kennedy Netto added 12 more as Milford rolled past Green River in the 1A consolation game at the Sevier Valley Center. Leading 21-14 at the half, Milford outscored Green River 42-12 in the second half.
DUCHESNE 54, MONUMENT VALLEY 36: Mashaylee Giles scored 18 points, Melissa Robinson added 10, and the Duchesne defense held the Cougars to just two points in the third quarter to stay alive in the 1A consolation bracket. Desmarie Hanley led Monument Valley with 12 points in the loss.
MONTICELLO 53, MANILA 42: Leading by one at the half, Monticello outscored Manila 33-23 in the second half to pull away for the victory in the 1A consolation bracket at the Sevier Valley Center. Zoe Chadwick led the Buckaroos with 17 points, with Atlanta Black adding 15. Manila's Rebecca Collett led all scorers in the loss with 18.
VALLEY 47, TINTIC 30: Nicole Roundy, Kyra Milligan, and Heather Roundy scored 17, 11 and 10 points, respectively, to keep Valley alive in consolation play. Esther Pehrson led the Miners in the loss with 12 points.
AMERICAN FORK 68, LEHI 54: American Fork outscored Lehi 44-31 in the second half to wrap up the regular season with a strong victory over Lehi. Jenna Shepherd recorded 22 points and eight rebounds to lead the Cavemen.
LONE PEAK 52, HERRIMAN 50: Sam Barnett scored 18 points for the Knights, and another 23 points came from the free-throw line in the narrow win over Herriman.
SKY VIEW 61, MOUNTAIN CREST 48: Lindsey Jensen led three Bobcats in double figures with 23 points as Sky View clinched a share of the Region 5 championships.
WASATCH 66, MAPLE MOUNTAIN 47: Tristin Bills led the Wasps with 18 points in the win over Maple Mountain to clinch the final playoff spot from Region 8. In the loss, Liz Eaton led all scorers with 27 points, including three 3-pointers.
HUNTER 41, WEST 30: Jennifer Burnham led the Wolverines with 14 points in the win over West.
