REGION 5

LOGAN 49, OGDEN 24: Jaxton Andersen scored 14 points for the Grizzlies to lead all scorers Wednesday night. Logan went 8-for-8 at the free-throw line to help them clinch the road victory.

SKY VIEW 58, ROY 55: After two periods of overtime, Sky View managed to hand Roy its first region loss of the season. Austin Jeppson and Riley Panter combined for 28 points in the winning effort.

BOX ELDER 77, BONNEVILLE 66: Shad Watson played a phenomenal game for the Bees against the Lakers, scoring 29 points with three 3-pointers. Sealun Erskine from Bonneville also played a great game with 24 points, including three 3-pointers.

REGION 9

DESERT HILLS 62, PINE VIEW 58: Jordan Hokanson led three Desert Hills players in double figures with 15 points, as Desert Hills marched to a much needed region victory at Pine View.

SNOW CANYON 46, CEDAR 44: Hayden Anderson and Nate Gottfredson combined for 28 point to lead Snow Canyon to the big win over Cedar on the road.

DIXIE 57, CANYON VIEW 55: Tyler Bennett made the game winning basket with just four seconds left to lift Dixie over Canyon view. Bennett and teammate Sam Guymon each finished with 16 points on the night.

REGION 11

GRANTSVILLE 68, STANSBURY 40: Devin Adams and Tyler Colson combined for 25 points for the Cowboys.

BEAR RIVER 85, TOOELE 61: The Bears got the win at home win with three different players scoring over 20 points each. McKade Mitton, was the top scorer with 23 points for Bear River.

REGION 12

RICHFIELD 59, JUAB 56: After trailing the entire game, Richfield rallied for a 26-18 fourth quarter advantage to take the region victory on the road. Jaylon Steck finished with 26 points for Richfield.

REGION 13

ENTERPRISE 74, PAROWAN 54: Justin Prisbrey finished with 25 points, nine rebounds and eight assists for Enterprise in the blowout victory at home. Isaac Wallin added 21 points in the winning effort.

BEAVER 53, MILLARD 42: Michael Roberts led Beaver with 18 points, and the home side used a 17-8 fourth quarter run to bury visiting Millard in region play.

KANAB 59, DELTA 56: Mark Bate lead the Cowboys to the win at home against the Rabbits by scoring 20 points. In this back and fourth game, Jaron Fowles and Logan Smith both scored 19 points for Delta.

REGION 14

MERIT ACADEMY 80, WATERFORD 32: Hunter Davis scored a game high 23 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead Merit to the blowout win at home. Jacob Garcia contributed 17 points with four 3-pointers on the night.

LAYTON CHRISTIAN 69, ROWLAND HALL 39: Gerardo Munoz led four LCA players in double figures with 16 points, and the visiting side managed to outscore Rowland Hall 43-17 in the second half of the game.

REGION 16

SUMMIT ACADEMY 75, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 69: Tyler Farris was able to help Summit Academy to the win with 27 points, including four 3-pointers. Hudson Chapple and Neil Davis, from American Leadership, had a combined total score of 46 in this close matchup.

GUNNISON 46, MANTI 45: Tyson Moosman hit a pair of free throws with two seconds remaining to help Gunnison to the narrow win at home. Moosman finished with 12 points.

SOUTH SUMMIT 57, NORTH SUMMIT 43: Brad Richins led all scorers with 21 points, and teammate Beau Rydalch added 20 points to help South Summit to the region win on the road.

REGION 18

WEST RIDGE ACADEMY 64, TINTIC 62: Luke Evans torched the nets for 36 points, including five 3-pointers to lead West Ridge to the narrow win on the road.

TELOS 67, WEST DESERT 42: Chase Perkins led Telos with 16 points, and the visitors managed to hold West Desert to 10 points in the first half of the region win.

NONREGION

ESCALANTE 70, PINNACLE 58: Jacob Christensen finished with 20 points, while teammate Kyler Nelson chipped in 18 points to help Escalante to a region victory at home.

Girls basketball

REG. 20 TOUR

WAYNE 66, BRYCE VALLEY 43: Rebekah Rasmussen and Sarah Taylor combined for 29 points to help Wayne to a solid victory in the region tournament.

MILFORD 39, VALLEY 35: Kennedy Netto and Chandler Rose each scored 14 points, as Milford powered its way past Valley in the region tournament.

PIUTE 64, ESCALANTE 32: It was all Piute Wednesday night, and behind 22 points from Shaylee Gleave the T-Birds improved to 8-3 in region play.

REGION 19

MONTICELLO 67, NAVAJO MOUNTAIN 39: Zoe Chadwick and Aapree Sheeran each scored 10 points, while Isabell Slade added 11 points to help Monticello roll to a 8-1 record in region play.
