"Darri is one of those players who quietly leads the team with her great attitude and love for the game," said head coach Curtis Barney. "(She) was inserted in the starting lineup as a freshman as our post player. She took some bumps and bruises during that time but the experience she has gained has certainly paid off."
A 4.0 student and a student of the game, Frandsen is constantly working to add on to what she can bring to her team.
"You can find Darri in the gym early in the morning or late at night still improving on her game, working on her foot work and her jump shot," Barney said. "Darri wants to get better and that attitude rubs off on the other girls."
