WEST JORDAN 52, COTTONWOOD 47: Malique McCoy led all players with 17 points and three 3-pointers as West Jordan used a big third quarter to edge the Colts. Cameron Brady had 15 points and three 3s for Cottonwood in the loss.

BRIGHTON 59, WEBER 57: Osa Masina scored 14 points while Eric Bennion and Chandler Gee combined for 23 more points in the narrow Brighton win.

DAVIS 63, ROY 62: Abel Porter led the Darts with 25 points as Davis won despite being outscored 26-9 in the fourth quarter.

ELKO, NEV. 50, LOGAN 47: Logan fell for the first time this season against an undefeated Elko, Nevada team.

OREM 75, CORONADO, NEV. 60: Orem picked up its first win of the season on the opening night of the Tarkanian Classic in Las Vegas.

SKY VIEW 65, BEAR RIVER 50: Bryan Dority and Riley Panter had 18 and 14 points, respectively, and combined for six 3-pointers for Sky View. Parker Lewis led the Bears with 18 points in the loss.

SYRACUSE 73, LAYTON CHRISTIAN 55: Braden Hall scored 28 points with four 3-pointers along with five rebounds while Josh Hefel paced the way with seven assists and 12 points in the Syracuse win.

HERRIMAN 63, CANYON VIEW 47: David Maynard scored a game-high 24 points with seven rebounds and five dimes while Alec Johnson and Jake Sutton combined for 20 points in the Herriman win.

UINTAH 64, SHERIDAN, WYO. 54: Hayden Bunderson scored a team-high 17 points and three others reached double digits in a game the Utes controlled from the tip.

RICHFIELD 60, KANAB 36: Richfield lit up the first half, outscoring Kanab 30-15. Jaylon Steck led the way with 20 points with two 3-pointers. Brandon Willardson added 12 also with two 3-pointers.

DESERT HILLS 63, MOUNTAIN CREST 48: Taylor Houston had 14 points and nine rebounds while Quincy Matthews added 11 points and six boards in the Thunder win.

LONE PEAK 70, MODESTO CHRISTIAN, CALIF. 54: T.J. Haws led the Knights with 31 points at the Jerry Tarkanian Classic.

GILLETTE, WYO. 92, UNION 71: Gillette, Wyo., jumped out to an early 21-1 lead and the Cougars could not make up for the slow start. Landen Winn scored 21 points for Union in the loss.

EAST 78, WEST 49: The Leopards pounced on the Panthers in the rivalry game. Mitch Grant had a game-high 28 points. Dacian Spotted Elk added 19 points.

SKYLINE 54, HUNTER 49: Alex Meldrum and Michael Binford combined for 29 points and behind an impressive second-half effort Skyline picked up the win. In the loss Noah Togiai contributed 26 points for Hunter.

MAPLE MOUNTAIN 65, NORTH SEVIER 36: Spencer Monroe scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds as Maple Mountain rolled past North Sevier in the opening game of the Red Rock Rumble at Dixie State. Kaden Poulsen chipped in with 10 points for the Golden Eagles.

EL CAMINO, CALIF. 58, BOUNTIFUL 55: The Braves narrowly lost at the Jerry Tarkanian Classic.

PARK CITY 70, WASATCH 54: Park City edged out their rival in the first half to gain momentum and take the win. Bosten VanDerVeur netted 31 points with one trey.

PINE VIEW 58, CORNER CANYON 53: Pine View went on a run late in the forth quarter to take the win. Kody Wilstead scored 19 points and Ryan Koller had 10 points with nine from beyond the arc.

SNOW CANYON 73, VIEWMONT 71: Tanner Sampson propelled Snow Canyon past Viewmont with a game-winner as time expired. He finished with 16 points and four 3s while Nate Gottfredson chipped in a team-high 31 points.
