1A PLAYOFFS

DIAMOND RANCH 48, ALTAMONT 19: Diamond Ranch raced to a 48-0 lead before visiting Altamont tacked on a few late touchdowns in Saturday's 1A quarterfinal game.

2A PLAYOFFS

NORTH SUMMIT 32, GUNNISON 20: Ryan McMichael rushed for two touchdowns as North Summit used a strong defensive second half to pull away from Gunnison for the 2A quarterfinal victory. North Summit led 19-14 and extended the lead to 32-14 before the visiting Bulldogs scored a late touchdown.


Volleyball

EMERY DEF. GRAND 25-16, 25-17, 21-25, 25-22: The Spartans advanced in consolation play with a win over the Red Devils.

ENTERPRISE DEF. SOUTH SUMMIT 25-13, 25-11, 25-17: The Wolves swept the Wildcats to earn a shot at the 2A state title in Saturday night's championship match. The top-ranked Wolves will take on second-ranked San Juan at 8 p.m.

ENTERPRISE DEF. SAN JUAN 25-22, 25-12, 25-19

DELTA DEF. SOUTH SUMMIT 25-17, 17-25, 25-20, 21-25, 16-14: The Rabbits won a thrilling consolation match to take third place in the 2A state volleyball tournament. The loss means the Wildcats finish the season in fourth place.

BEAVER DEF. EMERY 25-11, 25-18, 25-21: The Beavers earned fifth place with a sweep of Emery.

3A PLAYOFFS

PAYSON DEF. STANSBURY 25-18, 25-8, 25-13

PARK CITY DEF. DIXIE 27-25, 25-22, 25-15: The Miners advanced in consolation play, while the loss eliminated the Flyers.

DESERT HILLS DEF. MORGAN 25-23, 16-25, 25-22, 25-17: Top-ranked Desert Hills defeated second-ranked Morgan to earn a shot at defending the 3A title they earned last year. The loss sent Morgan into consolation play where they faced Snow Canyon for third-fourth place.

HURRICANE DEF. SNOW CANYON 26-28, 25-8, 25-16, 18-25, 15-9: The fourth-ranked Tigers won a thrilling five-set semifinal to advance to the 3A championship game where they will take on top-ranked, region-rival Desert Hills.

UINTAH DEF. UNION 25-20, 25-12, 20-25, 25-12: Uintah advanced in the one loss bracket, while the loss eliminated Union.

NORTH SANPETE DEF. TOOELE 25-14, 21-25, 25-11, 25-19: The Hawks advanced in consolation play with a win over third-ranked Tooele.

HURRICANE DEF. DESERT HILLS 25-19, 25-19, 25-11

SNOW CANYON DEF. MORGAN 20-25, 25-15, 25-21, 29-27: The Warriors outlasted the second-ranked Trojans to take third place in the 3A state volleyball tournament. The loss means Morgan finishes the season in fourth place.

NORTH SANPETE DEF. PAYSON 25-19, 16-25, 25-22, 25-22: The Hawks earned fifth-place with a victory against Payson. The loss means the Lions finish in seventh place in the 3A state tournament.

PARK CITY DEF. UINTAH 25-12, 18-25, 25-16, 25-21: Park City earns sixth place in the 3A state title with a win over Uintah. The loss gives Uintah eighth place.
