ST. JOSEPH 15, MOUNT VERNON 4: Nick Gruet led the Jayhawks with four triples in the region matchup against Mount Vernon. Nick Palmer earned the win on the mound.

WENDOVER 15, INTERMOUNTAIN CHRISTIAN 6: Tristan Sweat smacked a double, a home run, and picked up the win on the mound to help the Wildcats to the Region victory.

DUGWAY 12, TELOS 6

PANGUITCH 7, VALLEY 5: The Bobcats held on to a 4-0 lead to remain unbeaten as Chance Campbell and Dason Houston slugged home runs.

WAYNE 14, BRYCE VALLEY 6: Braden Brian contributed a double, and triple, and two RBIs for Wayne in the Region win over the Mustangs.

TINTIC 8, WEST RIDGE ACADEMY 6

REGION 2

GRANGER DEF. HILLCREST 25-13, 25-13, 25-18: Granger defeated Hillcrest in three straight sets.

TAYLORSVILLE DEF. WEST 25-15, 26-24, 25-11: Tasia Taylor and Tara Gregory combined for 16 kills as the Warriors swept the Panthers on the road.

REGION 7

OLYMPUS DEF. MOUNTAIN VIEW 26-24, 25-19, 14-25, 24-26, 15-8: Olympus finally overcame the Bruins after five sets. Kina Tausinga had 17 kills and 17 digs and Brooke Filiaga had 11 kills and 11 digs to help lead the Titans to the victory.

REGION 20

PIUTE DEF. MILFORD 25-18, 25-21, 25-23: The T-Birds secured the win over Milford in three close games. In the loss, Kennedy Netto had 10 kills for the Tigers, and Jaycee Denny and Chandler Rose had four blocks each.
