ST. JOSEPH 6, WENDOVER 1: St. Joseph put five runs up on the board in the bottom of the second inning to pick up the region win. Danny Donlevy roped a triple and Nick Gruet earned the win on the mound for the Jayhawks.
INTERMOUNTAIN CHRISTIAN 23, MOUNT VERNON 8: The Lions posted 17 runs in the second inning to cruise on the road.
PIUTE 14, BRYCE VALLEY 2: Piute exploded for nine runs in the fourth inning and racked up 14 hits for the game to earn its first region victory. Kaden Blood picked up the win on the hill for the T-Birds.
PANGUITCH 3, WAYNE 0: Chance Campbell pitched a one-hit, complete-game shutout while fanning 16 Wayne batters to lead Panguitch in the win.
BEAR RIVER 2, MORGAN 0: Bear River netted two goals in the second half to gain an edge in a hard-played and physical game. Tara Christensen and Marisa Hobbs each scored goals, while Terrell Womack earned the shutout between the posts to lead the home team.
DAVIS DEF. VIEWMONT 25-15, 23-25, 25-18, 25-22: Johanna Purdy finished with 11 kills, 18 digs, one solo block and one ace while Kendall Sargent added seven kills, 16 digs and 20 assists to power the Darts to victory. Amanda Varley had 12 kills, two aces and four solo blocks while Emily Madsen contributed seven kills and 31 digs in the loss.
SYRACUSE DEF. WEBER 21-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-21: After dropping the first set, Syracuse got back in the match and earned the region victory by defeating Weber in four sets. Chase Doughty had 16 kills and 13 digs while Ashlyn Capener added 29 assists to propel the home team.
SKYLINE DEF. COTTONWOOD 25-16, 25-18, 25-13: Skyline soared over the Cottonwood Colts in three straight sets. The Eagles were led by Kassie Sorensen's 10 kills, Madison O'Connor's seven kills and Madison Paulson's 17 digs.
GRANGER DEF. CYPRUS 25-18, 25-14, 25-13: The Grangers Lancers were able to cruise to victory over Cyprus in three straight sets.
JORDAN DEF. WEST 25-12, 25-15, 25-23: The Beetdiggers swept the previously unbeaten Panthers.
PIUTE DEF. KANAB 25-6, 25-18, 25-13: Piute easily picked up the lopsided victory over Kanab in three consecutive sets.
