Chase Nelson tossed three touchdowns and visiting Logan played outstanding defense on its way to a solid victory over Cottonwood to improve to 2-0 this season.

Davis 7, Syracuse 1
Davis erupted for five goals in the first half in its blowout victory over Syracuse in region play. Maddie Garlock and Madi Russell each notched two goals while Ireland Dunn dished out two assists to lead the Darts, while Courtnee Bearnson scored the lone goal for the Titans in the loss.
Viewmont 4, Weber 1
Riverton 2, Lehi 1
Riverton was able to outscore Lehi 2-1 in the second half to pick up the Region 4 victory on the road. Hailey Skolmoski and Mallory Bostic each drove in goals to help lift the Silverwolves. Alicha Holmstead's lone goal led the way for the Pioneers in the loss.
American Fork 2, Pleasant Grove 1 (OT)
Lone Peak 3, Westlake 0
The Lone Peak Knights picked up the region victory over Westlake by netting three second-half goals. Tess Arnold, Jessica Smith and Leesa Stowe each found the back of the net, while Cassidy Smith picked up the shutout for the home team.
Bonneville 3, Sky View 2
Bonneville's two goals in the first half proved to be the difference maker as the Lakers escaped with the narrow victory over Sky View. Ellee Hall, Mackenzie Price and Hannah Shore all drilled goals for the home team.
Ogden 3, Roy 2 — Jaimee Hansen added an assist with her goal, and Ogden shook off a two-game losing streak in region play with the impressive win over Roy.
Judge Memorial 6, Cyprus 0
Judge Memorial earned the region win against Cyprus by tallying six goals and holding the Pirates scoreless. Sierra Jensen notched the hat trick and Alex Margolis added two goals of her own while Laurel Housinger picked up the shutout between the posts to power the away team.
Bountiful 1, East 0
The Braves were able to drive in a goal in the second half to break the scoreless affair and pick up the Region 6 win over East. Miranda Tesch netted the lone goal and Charity Cole earned the shutout between the posts for the home team.
Highland 3, Woods Cross 1
Facing a 1-1 tie at the break, Highland came out and found the back of the net twice while also holding Woods Cross scoreless in the second half to pick up win in region play. Krystle Payne scored two goals to lead the way for the Rams.
Clearfield 8, Kearns 1
Clearfield picked up the region win by notching four goals in each half to run past Kearns. Brinley Adams led the way for the visiting team with a hat trick.
Olympus 2, Orem 1 (OT)
Olympus' late goal in the second half tied the game and sent the game to overtime. In overtime, the Titans were able to pull off the thrilling comeback victory on the road. Olivia Stringham and Anna Wycoff each found the back of the net to lead the visiting team.
Skyline 7, Corner Canyon 1
Skyline put five goals in the back of the net in the second half to defeat Corner Canyon. Holly Daugirda and Emma Heyn each chipped in two goals, while Hillary Weixler was outstanding between the posts to power the home team.
Timpanogos 3, Murray 0
Timpanogos took a 1-0 lead at the break and buried two more goals in the second half to secure the win over Murray. Three different players found the back of the net, while Natalie Reynolds dished out two assists and Sydney Oldroyd earned the shutout between the posts for the Spartans.
Salem Hills 4, Maple Mountain 3
Salem Hills pulled off an impressive comeback victory over Region 8 foe Maple Mountain by scoring four goals in the second half. Four different players found the back of the net for the SkyHawks.
Springville 3, Provo 2
Springville jumped out to an early 3-0 lead and kept its composure by holding off a late Provo surge to pick up the victory on the road. Teija Rosenberg helped lift the Red Devils with two scores.
Dixie 2, Snow Canyon 0
Dixie's two-goal first half performance proved to be the difference maker as the Flyers defeated Snow Canyon in region play. Aubri Challis and Bekah Pasley each drilled goals in the first half, while Elizabeth Empey protected the net and earned the shutout for the home team.
Cedar 7, Canyon View 2
Cedar added to its two-goal lead in the second half by burying four more goals to blow past Canyon View. Melissa Kunz's two scores led the way for the Falcons in the loss.
Jordan 4, West 0
Granger 4, Tooele 2
Stephanie Camareno netted a pair of goals, as Granger broke a 2-2 tie at half to pick up the victory at home.

Park City 2, Logan 1
Maeser Prep 7, Beaver 0
Copper Hills 4, Taylorsville 0
Union 8, Carbon 0
Union's strong first-half performance and stellar defense helped the Cougars pick up the victory against Carbon. Shianna Thompson notched a hat trick and Sophie Patton chipped in two goals of her own to power the home team.
Ben Lomond 4, Layton Christian 1
Ben Lomond netted three goals in the first half to take an early lead and held on to pick up the victory over Layton Christian. Four different players scored to lead the Scots.
Bear River 1, St. Joseph 1 (2OT)
Both teams were able to net goals in the first half, but neither team could gain an edge in the second half or in either overtimes as the match ended in a 1-1 draw. Karly Christensen's score led the way for Bear River, while Kalli Kashiwaeba's goal and Ali Koehler's steller performance between the posts powered St. Joseph.
HERRIMAN DEF. COPPER HILLS 25-17, 13-25, 25-17, 25-17 Herriman was able to defeat Copper Hills on the road by winning three of the first four sets to win the match. Sadie Pond had 12 kills and Jacey Saunders added five aces off of 24 serves for the Mustangs.
VIEWMONT DEF. GRANGER 25-21, 25-18, 25-20 Viewmont picked up the victory over Granger in three straight games on the road. Sane Manatau finished with nine kills to power the Lancers in the loss.
OLYMPUS DEF. HILLCREST 25-18, 25-17, 25-16 Olympus blew past Hillcrest in three straight sets to pick up the lopsided road victory. Becki Baucom and Brittany Estrada combined for 18 digs for the Titans.
SYRACUSE DEF. JORDAN 26-24, 25-27, 26-24, 25-18 Syracuse escaped the the narrow victory on the road by snatching three of the first four sets of the match.
ROY DEF. LAYTON CHRISTIAN 19-25, 21-25, 25-22, 25-18, 15-12 After losing the first two sets, Roy stormed back and won three straight to edge out Layton Christian Academy in five sets. In the loss, Felicia Marshall had 13 kills, Bri Nichols added 22 assists, Jordan Czenkus contributed eight kills and a solo block and Kylie Goodwin had two kills, a solo block and two block assists.
TINTIC DEF. MAESER PREP 26-24, 25-19, 25-22 Tintic blew past Maeser Prep in three straight games as the Miners easily picked up the victory on the road.
MOUNTAIN VIEW DEF. UNION 25-19, 25-14, 25-10 Mountain View protected its home court by defeating Union in three straight sets to earn the victory.
NORTH SUMMIT DEF. ROWLAND HALL 25-9, 25-20, 25-8 Janessa Stephens led the Braves with eight kills, five digs and two aces while Amy Ovard dished out 28 assists. Marisa Eng had 14 digs and 12 kills for the Winged Lion.
DESERT HILLS DEF. SPANISH FORK 25-18, 25-17, 25-18 Desert Hills won the first three sets of the match to earn the road victory.
WEST DEF. STANSBURY 25-23, 25-9, 25-20, 0-0, 0-0 The West Panthers earned the victory on the road by defeating the Stansbury Stallions in three straight games to win the match.
TOOELE DEF. PARK CITY 21-25, 25-12, 25-21, 21-25, 15-13 Tooele was able to grind out the tough win against Park City in five games. Brin Stewart had 15 kills and four aces, Shaundre Olson contributed 10 kills and four aces and Cassidy Russell finished with 33 assists and two aces to power the Buffaloes.
WASATCH DEF. GRANTSVILLE 25-15, 25-21, 25-22, 0-0, 0-0 Jessica Fishler had three aces for the Wasps, and Wasatch combined for 15 kills in the three set victory.
HURRICANE DEF. DELTA 23-25, 25-12, 25-15, 25-23, 0-0 Addie Edwards had nine aces with 42 assists, while Shania Hurst and Sela Filo each added 11 kills in the Hurricane victory.
