VALLEY 2, GREEN RIVER 1: Kobe Shatto fanned 10 batters, earned the win from the mound and ripped a triple to lead Valley past Green River in the Panguitch Grand Slam. Tim Hoyt also doubled for the Buffaloes, while Nick Corrigan's double led the way for the Pirates in the loss.

PANGUITCH 4, PINNACLE 0: The Bobcats shut out the Panthers.

BINGHAM 42, BONNEVILLE, IDAHO 7: Playing live on national television, the Miners opened their 2013 campaign with a big win over the visiting Bonneville (Idaho) Bees. Top TE prospect Dalton Schultz highlighted the action with a big 62-yard touchdown reception to break the game wide open for Bingham.

CANYON VIEW 5, TOOELE 1: Falcons went 1-1 on their Tooele Valley road trip with an emphatic 5-1 victory over the Buffaloes.

SKYLINE DEF. PINE VIEW 25-13, 23-25, 15-12: The Skyline Eagles soared over the Pine View Panthers in three games with a 15-12 win in the third game to win the match.

SOUTH SUMMIT DEF. BONNEVILLE 25-18, 25-21: South Summit cruised to victory over Bonneville by winning the first two games of the match.

MOUNTAIN CREST DEF. AMERICAN FORK 25-21, 25-19: Mountain Crest was able to pick up the win over American Fork in two straight games in the Utah Tournament of Champions.

LOGAN DEF. MAPLE MOUNTAIN 25-16, 13-25, 16-14: The Logan Grizzlies hung on to edge the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles with a 16-14 victory in the third game of the match in the Utah Tournament of Champions.

TIMPANOGOS DEF. SOUTH SUMMIT 25-13, 25-22: Timpanogos cruised past South Summit in the Utah Tournament of Champions by defeating the Wildcats in the first two games of the match.

ENTERPRISE DEF. WEBER 25-21, 25-11: Enterprise blew past Weber in two straight games in the Utah Tournament of Champions Saturday afternoon.

SKYLINE DEF. LOGAN 25-11, 27-25: Skyline picked up its second victory of the day by defeating Logan in two straight games to advance in the Utah Tournament of Champions.
