WOODS CROSS 4, CLEARFIELD 3: Woods Cross put four runs up on the board in the sixth inning, and Josh Cowley came in to pitch the rest of the way and earn the win for the Wildcats. Jake Brown and Kyle Peay each homered in the victory.
MURRAY 13, WESTLAKE 3: Zach Collins was solid for Murray as he went 4-for-4 from the plate and drove in five runs. Collins had two doubles and a triple while teammate Cam Howe was strong on the mound for the Spartans, scattering six hits and allowing only three runs.
DESERT HILLS 7, HURRICANE 1: Zac Ivie earned the win.
HIGHLAND 8, SUMMIT ACADEMY 4: The Rams doubled up the Bears.
WATERFORD 5, WENDOVER 1: Sean Keough notched the hat trick as Waterford netted four goals in the first half to blow past Wendover in the region matchup.
MANTI 8, SOUTH SEVIER 0: Juan Frutos recorded a hat trick, Alvaro Cardenas added two more goals, and Dillon Rasmussen earned the shutout to lead the Templars in the lopsided victory over South Sevier.
LEGACY PREP 8, WEST RIDGE ACADEMY 0: Koshi Ukai was spectacular for Legacy Prep with four goals and teammate Jonathon Faber had three assists and added a goal of his own. Josh Woolston earned the shutout in the goal for the Lions.
OAKLEY 8, MOUNT VERNON 0: Sam Ohaus of Oakley earned a hat trick in the blowout win over Mount Vernon.
LAYTON 2, NORTHRIDGE 1 (OT): Trailing by one going into the second half, Logan Day tied the game with a goal that sent it to overtime where Youri Joseph found the back of the net to win the game for Layton.
WEBER 6, SYRACUSE 0: Stratton Nielsen scored and had two assists while Zachary Dixon also dished out two assists for the Warriors. Jaden Bybee also found the back of the net and had an assist while Cody Albretsen recorded the shutout.
FREMONT 2, DAVIS 1 (OT): Jordan Preator scored both goals for the Silver Wolves, who prevailed in overtime of the windy contest.
WEST 6, KEARNS 0: Nemo Abdi led the Panthers with four scores to keep the Cougars winless.
VIEWMONT 2, TAYLORSVILLE 0: Jared Whitworth broke open a defensive game with a 75th-minute header on a cross from Landon Brown as Viewmont shut out Taylorsville for the region victory. Matt Hansen tacked on a stoppage-time insurance goal.
COPPER HILLS 4, COTTONWOOD 1: Connor Thompson led the Grizzlies with two goals as Copper Hills surged in the second half.
BRIGHTON 3, JORDAN 1:
Matt Coffey assisted two of the Bengals' goals as Brighton broke a halftime tie for the region victory.
ALTA 6, WEST JORDAN 1: Tanner Valerio led the Hawks with two goals as Alta cruised past West Jordan.
BONNEVILLE 2, MOUNTAIN CREST 1 (OT): Chandler Baddley put the team on his back by not only scoring the Lakers' only goal in regulation, but by also scoring the golden goal in overtime to give Bonneville the win. Andy Cordova scored the only Mountain Crest goal.
BOX ELDER 1, SKY VIEW 1 (2OT): Box Elder came up with a big tie on the road against Region 5-leader Sky View. Connor Olsen scored for the Bees while the Bobcats' Jayson Duffin scored their lone goal.
WESTLAKE 4, HILLCREST 3 (OT): An own goal in overtime lifted the Thunder on a windy afternoon.
MOUNTAIN VIEW 4, TIMPVIEW 0: Mountain View scored two goals in each half to earn the region win over Timpview. Alec Woolley netted two goals, while Austin McBride recorded the shutout between the posts to lead the Bruins.
DIXIE 1, HURRICANE 0: McKlane Keenan found the back of the net in the first half, and the Flyers held on to edge Hurricane in region play. Tristan Cowles earned the shutout in the win.
PINE VIEW 1, SNOW CANYON 0 (OT): Justin Jones recorded the shutout.
BEN LOMOND 4, STANSBURY 2: The Scots doubled up the Stallions.
VIEWMONT 19, GRANGER 1: Eight of the Vikings' nine hits went for extra-bases as the Viewmont blew past the Lancers. Caitlyn Larsen doubled, tripled and homered, while Eliza Thornley hit a doubled and picked up the win from the circle to power Viewmont.
BRIGHTON 11, JORDAN 1: Brighton scored eight runs in the fourth and fifth innings to earn the region victory over Jordan. Kylie Everill ripped two doubles and Jessica Terry pitched the win from the mound for the Bengals.
PLEASANT GROVE 8, AMERICAN FORK 3: Pleasant Grove scored four runs in the sixth inning to secure the victory over American Fork. Sarah Hicken hit a triple and Lexi Richards pitched for the win to lead the Vikings.
ROY 24, LOGAN 2: Roy scattered 14 hits and racked up 24 runs in the first two innings to earn the region victory against Logan. Wylee Fielding led the Royals with a home run, while Abby Kennedy added a double and pitched the win for Roy.
