BINGHAM 2, MILTON, GA. 2: The consolation game at the USA Baseball National High School Invitational between Bingham and Milton, Ga., ended in a tie after 11 innings.
MONTICELLO 4, MILLARD 3: Monticello had 11 hits and only one error to edge the Eagles at the San Juan Invitational. Hunter Bowring, Shane Christensen, Jake Giles, and Dillon Maughan each hit a double while Austin Maloy contributed a triple for the Buckaroos. Austin Wilcox recorded the win on the mound.
WATERFORD 3, SOUTH SUMMIT 0: Ross Merrell earned the shutout in goal for Waterford while the offense was led by Christian Mason who scored a goal and also assisted on a goal.
SKY VIEW 2, MOUNTAIN CREST 0: Sky View got off to a quick start and never looked back as Tanner Hulse scored a goal in the second minute. Jayson Duffin assisted Hulse and later scored his own goal to put it away for the Bobcats.
LOGAN 3, BOX ELDER 1: Jose Beto Rincon, Junior Perez, and McCade Yates each scored once for the Grizzlies in the first region win of the season. The Bees' goal was kicked by Parker Johnson in the loss.
HIGHLAND 4, CLEARFIELD 2: Despite being held scoreless in the first half, Highland exploded in the second half to pick up the win. The Rams scored four second half goals and were led by Matthew Warne who scored two goals.
EAST 2, WOODS CROSS 1: After a scoreless first half, Woods Cross scored in the second half only to give up two goals, and ultimately the victory, to East. Mauricio Santana and Landon Carlson scored for the Leopards.
HUNTER 1, OLYMPUS 0: The Wolverines shut out the Titans.
GRANTSVILLE 6, WENDOVER 0: Benton Tripp was on fire for Grantsville as he had a hat trick while three of his teammates also found the back of the net. Parker May was key for the Cowboys as he did not let anything past him to earn the shutout.
SPANISH FORK 1, UNION 0: Ridge Payne scored the only goal of the game to lead Spanish Fork to victory. Danny Avile and the Spanish Fork defense had a great showing as they did not allow a single Union goal.
WASATCH 11, UNION 1: Renee Fagg hit a double and a home run and drove in three runs to lead Wasatch to victory. Ashlynn Davis was solid on the mound for the Wasps as she only allowed two hits.
UINTAH 14, PARK CITY 0: The Utes blanked the Miners.
STANSBURY 15, OGDEN 1: Carly Manzione was 2-for-4 at the plate, contributing two home runs and a double to the Stallions' 13 hits. Kimbri Herring picked up the win on the mound with 10 strikeouts.
BEAR RIVER 4, GRANTSVILLE 3: Jordan Theurer had seven strikeouts and earned the victory on the mound for Bear River as it picked up the road win. Theurer helped her own cause as she hit a double as well.
WOODS CROSS 6, WEBER 5: The Wildcats scored their six runs between the second and fifth innings and held off the comeback-minded Warriors. Woods Cross was led by Hanalee Robinson who hit a triple and was the winning pitcher. Weber's McKenna Bull had a home run and drove in two runs in the loss.
SPANISH FORK 8, MAPLE MOUNTAIN 1: Spanish Fork scored six runs in the sixth inning to secure the victory over Maple Mountain. Ashlee Gordon recorded the win on the mound for the Dons.
