LEHI 10, BRIGHTON 8: Lehi held-off a late Brighton rally as the Pioneers picked up the win. Cody Webb had two doubles, while Ryan Absher hit a double, four RBIs and earned the win from the hill to lead Lehi.
DAVIS 13, WEST 9: Kody Day, who struck out six batters and earned the Davis victory, was one of four pitchers that took the mound for the Darts. Zac Fuller had a triple with two RBIs and Jackson Peacock blasted two homers against a skeleton West team that had just three reserves on the bench, all of whom were injured.
MONTICELLO 8, DELORES, COLO. 1: Hunter Bowring smacked a triple and Shane Christensen doubled while also picking up the win from the hill to lead Monticello past Delores, Colo., in the San Juan Invitational.
JORDAN 11, CATHEDRAL CITY, CALIF. 4: After dropping its first game at the Bishop Gorman Desert Classic on Wednesday, the 'Diggers bounced back with a strong victory over Cathedral, Calif.
LAYTON CHRISTIAN 2, OAKLEY 0: Fernando Horta and Amand Rukundo each netted goals, while keeper Berke Kalemotou saved two Oakley penalty kicks and shut-out the Explorers to help Layton Christian defeat Oakley.
AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 5, MAESER PREP 0: Zach LaTaisse scored two goals, while three other teammates found the back of the net as well to lift ALA past Maeser Prep in region play. Anson Gwilliam recorded the shutout in the win.
NORTHRIDGE 4, SYRACUSE 0: Christian Hall led the Northridge scoring attack with two goals, while Robert Crawford dished out two assists to lift the Knights over the Titans. Zach Nielson picked up the shutout in the win.
HUNTER 3, WEST 2: Oscar Hernandez sent a powerful shot across the field and into the left corner of the net to give Hunter the road victory in overtime.
VIEWMONT 5, GRANGER 1: Five different players scored to help Viewmont earn the victory over Granger in region play.
TAYLORSVILLE 3, KEARNS 0: Damian Holladay, Connor Ibins and Eduardo Munoz each netted goals in the second half to give the Warriors the win over the Cougars. Kellar Sirstins recorded the shutout in the win.
PROVO 4, SALEM HILLS 1: Provo earned the victory with a very balanced scoring effort, netting two goals in each half and spreading the scoring to four different players -- Allan Resendez, Sergio Bencomo, Christian Cardoso, and Tyler Gordon.
SPRINGVILLE 4, TIMPVIEW 1: In the Ronald McDonald House Charity game, Springville earned the victory behind Ethan Trunnell's two goals. The two teams combined to raise about $2,000 for charity in the game.
