What sense does is make that the 5A MVP comes form a team that did not make the playoffs? Does this seem strange to anyone else? I understand that she had great stats, but not making the playoffs seems to negate that.

Apparently you have not watched her play. She is amazing. Just because her team did not make the playoffs does not mean she was not the MVP.

On the opposite making the playoffs should not automatically make your players deserving of More..

I agree with “showme”, that girl can play. She had good stats with 2 and 3 defenders hanging all over her. The end of the season awards (MVP, Miss Basketball, ect..) are exclusively for individual achievement, these are reserved for the More..
