Of the 43 Utahns playing Division I college basketball, 14 will be playing in postseason tournaments this week. Markus Duran and the rest of the 15-seeded Pacific Tigers will take on the heavily-favored 2-seeded Miami Hurricanes on Friday on TNT. Meanwhile Utahns playing for BYU, Long Beach State, Stanford and Washington are playing in the NIT, while players from Hawaii and Weber State are hosting CIT first-round games.

Was: East High. Now: Fuerza Regia Monterrey, Mexico
Note: Averaged 14.3 points and 9.2 rebounds in 28.8 minutes. The well-traveled Allred has played for teams on five different continents since 2010.
NATE AUSTIN
Was: Lone Peak High. Now: BYU
Note: Started in the Cougars' narrow loss to San Diego in the WCC tournament. Averaged 3.5 points and 4.2 rebounds for the NIT-bound Cougars.
QUINCY BAIR
Was: American Fork High. Now: Utah State
Note: The freshman guard/forward quit the team in December.
TAYLOR BROWN
Was: Alta High. Now: Utah Valley
Note: UVU junior guard averaged 2.1 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists per game.
ELLIOTT BULLOCK
Was: Olympus High. Now: Stanford
Note: The junior forward/center did not play this season for the NIT-bound Cardinal.
BEN CLIFFORD
Was: Bingham High. Now: Utah State
Note: Came on strong late in the season for the injury-plagued Aggies, scoring 16 points on 4 of 5 shooting from 3-point distance in USU's final game.
JAYSON CHEESMAN
Was: Mountain View High. Now: Southern Utah
Note: Led the Thunderbirds blocks (1.9) while averaging 6.8 points and 6 rebounds a game.
BRIAN CURRAN
Was: Juan Diego High. Now: Lamar
Note: The freshman guard played in just two games for the Cardinals, who struggled to a 1-17 record in the Southland Conference.
CRAIG CUSICK
Was: Orem High. Now: BYU
Note: The senior guard has seen his minutes steadily increase. He averaged 4.3 points and 2.2 assists per game this season.
BRANDON DAVIES
Was: Provo High. Now: BYU
Note: Nearly had a triple-double against USD (20 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists). He has averaged 17.6 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in his senior season.
