Red Storm pitcher, batter picked as Pacific West players of the week

ST. GEORGE — Dixie State senior 1B/OF Anna Cue and sophomore pitcher Michelle Duncan have been selected as the Pacific West Conference player and pitcher of the week.
Cue led the Red Storm to a 5-2 week by hitting .542 over seven starts. She went 13 for 24 with eight runs scored, two doubles, six home runs and 16 runs batted in.
Duncan had a 3-0 record with a 0.39 earned run average, tossing a pair of shutouts, and striking out 19 batters over 18.0 innings of work. Duncan allowed just one earned run, two extra-base hits, a .224 batting average and five walks over her three-game win streak.
