Hurricane scored all five of its runs in the fourth inning, as the home team picked up a win to start the season.

Tom Wilson hit a a two-run triple in the fourth inning to give the Silver Wolves the lead. Fremont went on to win its season opener with no errors.

Gunnison 7, Richfield 1

Six players, led by Connor Caldwell with two goals, scored to lead the Bulldogs to the win over Richfield.

Grand 3, South Sevier 2

Koby Sobremesana notched a hat trick to lead South Sevier, as the home team held defensively after the 3-1 lead at halftime. Ammon Cornelius scored twice in the loss.

Wasatch Academy 6, North Sevier 2

Momo Diop and Emrem Panriover each found the back of the net twice, and Wasatch Academy started the season on the right foot with a victory at home.

Hunter started the season on the right foot behind goals from Kendall Taylor and Raul Cavazos. Justin Motzkes earned the shutout between the posts in the opening night win over Herriman.

Alex Espinoza netted three goals for Wasatch, while Domey Espinoza dished out a pair of assists in the victory.
