LAYTON CHRISTIAN 64, ST. JOSEPH 52: Layton Christian maintained its perfect region record in the win, and St. Joseph placed second. Nick Gruet led all scorers with 21 points for the Jayhawks, while Duce Namazi led the Eagles with 19 points.
WEST RIDGE ACADEMY 78, MOUNT VERNON 33: Emron Frogley poured in 27 points to lead West Ridge Academy to the season-ending victory over Mount Vernon.
LEGACY PREP 53, INTERMOUNTAIN CHRISTIAN 25: Kylan Gardiner scored 17 points and Jacob Higginson added 16 as Legacy wrapped up the regular season with a victory over ICS to clinch the No. 3 seed from Region 17.
MONTICELLO 65, GREEN RIVER 50: Tanner Eardley and Austin Maloy each had 12 points for the Buckaroos in the win over Green River. In the loss, TJ Hughes had a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds.
WEST JORDAN 63, COPPER HILLS 54: West Jordan pulled away from the Grizzlies in the third quarter, securing the region win. Brent Beales and Parker Brown led the Jaguars with 21 points and 17 points, respectively, while Preston Sanchez led his team with 19 point in the loss.
WEST 81, TAYLORSVILLE 78: Sunday Owda poured in 33 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as West eked out a victory over Taylorsville in the Region 2 play-in game to clinch a spot in the 5A state tournament.
EMERY 45, PAROWAN 44: Hannah Dyer scored 12 points and picked of a crucial steal at the end of the game to secure the Spartans' trip to the 2A championship game. Shelby Allred led Emery with 16 points and three 3-pointers. In the loss, the Rams were led by Kelsey Wilkey with 13 points and McKinsey Smith with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Chennin Benson pulled down 11 rebounds for Parowan.
RICHFIELD 50, KANAB 37: Megan Bean and Mckell Lajeunesse scored 16 and 13 points, respectively, to lead Richfield to the 2A championship game. Bean had nine rebounds while Sloane Roundy added eight points, four assists, and two steals in the victory. For Kanab, Kaitlyn Glover totaled 17 points and eight boards alongside Whitney Houston's 12 points and three 3-pointers.
BEAVER 44, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 33: Schyler Jordan and Hattie Snyder combined for 24 points while Macail Wood added nine points to compliment her 17 rebounds in Beaver's victory in the 2A consolation bracket. Dalila Rodriguez led ALA with 17 points, four 3-pointers, three assists, and three steals.
ENTERPRISE 49, GUNNISON 32: Riley Lyman led the Wolves with 10 points while Taylor Phelps, Dakota Robinson, and Jaycee Reber added eight points apiece to boost Enterprise in the 2A consolation victory. For Gunnison in the loss, Madee Christenson scored six points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
DIXIE 33, CEDAR 31: Dixie overcame an eight-point first half deficit, and outscored Cedar 9-5 in the fourth quarter to pull off the minor 3A semifinal upset. Cedar beat Dixie by a combined 10 points in two region meetings this year, but Kelsey McCann and Caroline Lantor scored 11 and 10 points respectively to avenge the loss at the Dee Events Center. Cedar had a chance to potentially win the game, but missed a running jumper with five seconds remaining.
