  • High school basketball: Dixie tops Pine View to claim playoff spot

ST. JOSEPH 81, OAKLEY 47: St. Joseph closed out Oakley in the third quarter, outscoring them 20-8. Nick Gruet scored a game-high 15 points with nine from beyond the arc. David Donlevy added 11 points.

WEST RIDGE ACADEMY 58, INTERMOUNTAIN CHRISTIAN 46: Alec Metzger scored a team-high 17 points and Ethan Cope added 15 to power West Ridge Academy over Intermountain Christian. Mikey Boettger and Zach Paige scored 18 apiece in the loss.

LEGACY PREP 67, MOUNT VERNON 14: Legacy Prep shut down Mount Vernon 38-4 heading into halftime. Three Lions scored in double figures, including Kylan Gardiner scoring 20 points with six boards, five assists and seven steals. Kling Gardiner added 18 and Hunter Harmer added 18 points with eight boards.

LAYTON CHRISTIAN 80, CONCORDIA PREP 6: Layton Christian soared to a blowout victory on the road against Concordia Prep.

Girls basketball

REG. 20 TOUR

MILFORD 48, WAYNE 38: Milford shut out Wayne on a 13-6 run in the fourth quarter to take the victory. Kennedy Netto led with 14 points. Tia Florence added 13 points.

ESCALANTE 59, BRYCE VALLEY 57: Bryce Valley's Janette Pollock threw up a last second shot but rimmed out for the loss. Lindsey Phillips led the Moquis to a two-point victory, scoring 28 points. Audrey Lindsey added 11 points.

PIUTE 62, VALLEY 53: Whitney Westwood led four T-Birds in double figures with 19 points.
