Boys basketball

REGION 21

RICH 62, DUCHESNE 56: McKay Jarman torched the nets for 26 points, as visiting Rich used a second quarter rally to hand Duchesne it's first region loss of the season. McKade Nielsen netted 20 points in the loss.

Girls basketball

REGION 19

MONUMENT VALLEY 69, PINNACLE 36: Heidi Nelson had 25 points to assist the Cougars in the home win over Pinnacle.

GREEN RIVER 74, NAVAJO MOUNTAIN 40: Michaela Hughes netted 19 points, and every player was able to score for Green River in the lopsided region win. The visiting team improved to 11-6 with the victory.

REGION 20

PANGUITCH 61, ESCALANTE 32: Darri Frandsen led four players in double figures with 20 points, and Panguitch held Escalante to just 12 points in the second half to earn the region victory on the road.

BRYCE VALLEY 50, VALLEY 42: Whitni Syrett scored 21 points to lead the Mustangs in the road victory over Valley.

PIUTE 73, WAYNE 57: Kierra Gleave and Shaylee Gleave scored 24 points each in the Piute win over Wayne.

REGION 21

RICH 53, DUCHESNE 28: Emma Peart and Alisa Petersen scored 17 points a piece for Rich in the road win over Duchesne.

NONREGION

MANILA 67, WENDOVER 40: Ashlee Hullinger netted five 3-pointers, and finished with a game-high 20 points to lead Manila past visiting Wendover. Janelle Reed and Rebecca Collett combined for 30 Manilla points.
