SKY VIEW 56, MURRAY 47: Jalen Moore scored a game-high 27 points to lead Sky View to the victory over Murray.

BINGHAM 58, ALTA 57: Daylor Youngblood hit two free-throws with four seconds left to put Bingham ahead and Alta's last second shot failed to fall. Brandon Morley led the Miners with a game-high 21 points while Youngblood finished with eight points.

BEN LOMOND 62, NORTH SANPETE 39: Sterling Brandley had 23 points in Ben Lomond's victory over North Sanpete.

OLYMPUS 65, WEST JORDAN 53: Led by Coulson Hardy, who scored 20 points, four players scored in double-digits to help Olympus secure the win over West Jordan. In the loss, Parker Brown was the high-scorer with 17 points.

RIVERTON 59, HERRIMAN 57: Stephan Holm scored 23 points in the narrow victory over Herriman. In the loss, David Maynard scored 18 points.

NORTH SEVIER 55, SOUTH SUMMIT 53: Colton Robins and Dakota Shepherd provided North Sevier with a one-two punch as they scored 19 and 18 points, respectively, in the impressive preseason victory over the Wolves.

WEBER 67, BOX ELDER 50: Weber's Hayden Schenck led the way with 21 points, eight boards, seven assists and four steals. Jordan Jones threw down 12 points.

BEAVER 47, AMERICAN LEADERSHIP 42: Braxton Williams' 17-point and 14-board performance helped power Beaver over American Leadership to remain undefeated on the season. Michael Roberts also contributed 14 points for the Beavers.

WESTLAKE 63, LEHI 60: Westlake was clutch from the free-throw line down the wire as it held off visiting Lehi. Zavon Jackson scored 17 points to lead the Thunder while the Pioneers' Blake Cleveringa scored a game-high 19 points in the loss.

PAROWAN 49, MAESER PREP 19: Parowan outscored Maeser Prep in the first half 26-5 and continued the streak for the rest of the game. Justin Hulet scored a game-high 21 points with three steals. Caleb Murphy knocked in 12 points.

MERIT ACADEMY 81, ROCKWELL 48: Joel Martinez led the Knights with 19 points in the road win over Rockwell. In the loss, Dallin Clements scored 13 points, including three 3-pointers.

MANTI 64, NORTH SUMMIT 60: Manti edged out visiting North Summit behind Jamen Miller who scored 18 points. Three other players scored in double-figures for the Templars while the Braves' Landon Richins scored a game-high 22 points in the loss.

TINTIC 58, PINNACLE 53: Thanks to Travis Green's clutch play down the stretch, Tintic sealed the deal against Pinnacle down the stretch. Green led the Miners with 16 points but Clint Peterson, while only scoring two points, made the biggest basket of the night off a offensive rebound to extend Tintic's lead to five late in the game.

Girls basketball


WEST 53, HUNTER 40: West defeated Hunter thanks to solid play from Maddy Murphy and Jordyn Powell who each scored 16 points. Hunter's Tess Matagi scored a game-high 22 points and drained three treys in the loss.

KEARNS 54, GRANGER 43: Kearns' Rosetta Kasala led the way with 14 points in the 11-point victory on the road. Tasha Ika added 11 points.

VIEWMONT 62, TAYLORSVILLE 26: Viewmont's Caitlyn Larsen and Katie Toole poured in 20 points apiece to help the Vikings defeat the Warriors. Karlee Jensen led the way for Taylorsville as she scored nine points in the loss.


OREM 49, PROVO 35: A tight game heading into the fourth quarter, Orem scored nine of 11 free throws to seal the home win. Tatiana Monsen led the Tigers with 20 points.

MOUNTAIN VIEW 47, TIMPVIEW 43: In a game that could have gone either way, Mountain View was able to outlast Timpview on the road in overtime. Gentry Oldham and Jessica Raab led the Bruins with 11 and 10 points respectively.
