At left, skaters braved the 20-degree weather at the Gallivan Center in Salt Lake City on Thursday. Above, Marina Fess, 12, of San Francisco had a laugh after falling on the ice while skating. The very chilly air is stuck here through the weekend with the inversion hanging around into the start of next week. Temperatures are expected to hit the low 30s by Sunday.
