WASATCH 43, HURRICANE 39: Rebecca MaWhinney scored 16 points in addition to nine rebounds and five steals to lead Wasatch to the tight, defensive victory over Hurricane at the Sevier Valley Center.
MORGAN 50, DELTA 37: After a close first half, Morgan exploded in the second half, outscoring Delta 29-13. McKenzie Schenk led the Trojans with 15 points and was closely followed by Kiersha Dickson who scored 12 points. The Rabbits' TaNeil Clayton scored a game-high 16 points in the loss.
BEAVER 51, SOUTH SUMMIT 40: Behind the one-two combo of Hattie Snyder and McCail Wood, the Beavers came up with the win. Snyder scored 21 points and had 11 rebounds while Wood added 15 points.
NORTH SANPETE 33, SOUTH SEVIER 27: North Sanpete came up with the win thanks to balanced scoring. Taylor Gordon led the Hawks with nine points while the Rams' Shantae Dustin had a game-high 20 points in the loss.
KANAB 59, NORTH SEVIER 40: Kaitlin Glover scored a game high 21 points, as Kanab nipped North Sevier in the 2A-3A Preseason Preview. Jessika Houston drained four 3-pointers, finishing with 12 points in for Kanab. Devyn Sorensen dropped in 20 points for North Sevier.
RICHFIELD 50, NORTH SUMMIT 20: Sloane Roundy managed to score 16 points, and Richfield opened the game with a 24-4 first quarter that left North Summit in the dust.
RIVERTON 60, ROY 48: Riverton was able to capitalize on an early lead and grab the road victory against Roy to remain unbeaten on the season. Whitney Saunders led the Silverwolves with 16 points.
BINGHAM 49, TIMPANOGOS 27: Bingham's intense defense helped them jump out to an early lead on the road and Jillian Powell drilled two 3-pointers and scored a game-high 13 points to help the Miners remain undefeated on the season.
MANILA 53, PINEDALE, WYO. 51: Manila eked out a narrow victory over Pinedale, Wyo. at the Flaming Gorge Classic in Wyoming.
VALLEY, NEV. 55, PANGUITCH 45: Darri Frandsen recorded a double-double for Panguitch as she scored 13 points and grabbed 16 rebounds but her team could not capture the victory over Valley, Nev. at the Virgin Valley Tournament in Mesquite, Nev.
MOUNTAIN CREST 61, LONE PEAK 33: Kelsey Kartchner led the Mountain Crest attack with 10 points and six rebounds, as the home team nearly doubled Lone Peak's score to pick up the victory.
GREEN RIVER 54, TABIONA 27: Jamie Johnson led all scorers with 14 points to lead Green River to victory. Taylor Johnson and Michaela Hughes added 11 points apiece to the Pirates' cause.
WOODS CROSS 57, OLYMPUS 46: Cami Horrocks led the Wildcats to a non-region win with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Rachel VanderToolen led the Titans with 18 points.
DESERT OASIS, NEV. 39, VALLEY 35: Valley tried for the second half comeback but just fell short to Desert Oasis, Nevada. Valley's Kyra Milligan and Nicole Roundy combined for 30 points
SPRINGVILLE 65, CEDAR 53: Springville outscored Cedar 25-15 in the fourth quarter to edge out Cedar to remain perfect on the season. Malia Nawahine's huge game of 32 points and 10 rebounds helped lift the Red Devils to victory.
SKYLINE 40, MOUNTAIN VIEW 37:
UINTAH 55, SPANISH FORK 52: Uintah trialed by seven points in the fourth quarter, but quickly erased the deficit and eventually took the lead for good on Taylor Henline's penetrating layup with 1:40 remaining. The Utes connected on 9-of-11 freebies in the final quarter.
LAYTON 67, MURRAY 34: Layton broke open the game in the second quarter with a 26-9 advantage and Cassidy Anderson finished with 14 points to lead the Lancers to a road victory.
WEST JORDAN 48, PAYSON 23: The Jaguars started the game out strong, scoring 18 points, and continued the streak throughout the game. Kim Evans led the way with 16 points. Haley Carle added 11 points with one 3-pointer.
NORTHRIDGE 59, BEN LOMOND 38: Northridge shot the lights out and was able to earn their first victory of the season by defeating Ben Lomond. Sydnee Acord hit three 3-pointers and scored a game-high 26 points and Cassidy Reese also scored 19 points, 15 of which came from beyond the arc, to help Knights beat the Scots.
BRYCE VALLEY 40, PAROWAN 34: Whitni Syrett and Brittney Frost combined for 23 points, and the home team bounced back from a sluggish start to hand Parowan its first loss of the season.
DIXIE 45, MAPLE MOUNTAIN 36: Dixie's Caroline Lanter and Kelsey McCann combined for 25 points in the nine point victory at home.
WENDOVER 48, PINNACLE 25: Nancy DeSantiago was solid for Wendover as she scored a game-high 17 points to lead her team to victory. Raycee Birch led Pinnacle with 11 points, including one 3-pointer.
ESCALANTE 41, SAN JUAN 35: Escalante suffocated San Juan defensively in the first half, holding the Broncos to six points in the opening two quarters, to pick up the big road win. Lindsey Phillips led all-scorers with 18 points and Tori Lindsay chipped in 12 more.
ST. JOSEPH 51, DUGWAY 16: St. Joseph easily took care of business for the victory over Dugway at the Wendover Tournament.
LARAMIE, WYO. 62, UNION 27: Union fell behind early and could never keep up with Laramie, Wyo. in a big loss at the Flaming Gorge Classic in Wyoming.
