SALEM HILLS 85, PAYSON 50: Salem Hills scored 31 points in the first quarter to jump start their successful game. Cody Pritchett and Ammon Fifita each scored 16 points and Ryan Koller threw down 14 points.


ROWLAND HALL 61, INTERMOUNTAIN CHRISTIAN 46: Malik Adams led Rowland Hall to victory over Intermountain Christian with 16 points and Chris Nkoy also contributed 10 points for the Winged Lion. Zach Paige scored 27 points for the Lion in their loss.

GREEN RIVER, WYO. 57, UINTAH 51: Green River's strong third quarter helped them get the tough victory over Uintah in the Flaming Gorge Classic. Denver Buckalew scored a team-high 19 points for Utes.

EVANSTON, WYO. 51, UNION 34: George Kaufusi and Stephen Merrell each scored eight points, but Union dug itself in a hole by only scoring 14 points in the first half.

SOUTH SUMMIT 63, GUNNISON 59: South Summit's Brad Richins led the way with 22 points. Beau Rydalch added 13 points. Steven Flinders finished the game with 10 points with six from behind the arc.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, WYO. 47, MANILA 38: Mountain View, Wyo. put the game away in the fourth quarter as it outscored Manila 17-10. Ben Rose led the Mustangs with 15 points in the loss.

WENDOVER 88, WEST RIDGE ACADEMY 52: James Trujillo knocked down eight 3-pointers and finished with 28 points to lead Wendover to a victory over visiting West Ridge Academy at the Wendover Tournament. Joe Giacchetti finished with 33 points in the loss for the Eagles.

ROCKWELL 61, CONCORDIA PREP 13: Rockwell jumped out to a 29-6 lead in the first quarter and never looked back in the win. Preston Hanson scored 21 points and Colton Corner added 11 points in the win. Bryce Kirk scored all 13 points for Concordia Prep.

Girls basketball

MONUMENT VALLEY 58, DOVE CREEK, COLO. 40: Heidi Nelson was unstoppable scoring 29 points with three 3-pointers. Autumn Holliday and Jandra Nelson combined for 16 points.

SALEM HILLS 55, WESTLAKE 48: Salem Hills was able to survive a late fourth quarter run by Westlake and held on for the win despite being outscored 15-3 in the final 12 minutes. Erica Egbert hit two 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 17 points for the SkyHawks.

COTTONWOOD 42, HERRIMAN 30: The Colts stampeded over the Tigers in the 12 points victory. Andrea Brady led with 14 points. Kari Uncles threw down 12 points including one 3-pointer.

DAVIS 47, CLEARFIELD 20: Natalie Mecham led Davis with the 15 points, seven rebound effort to give Davis the victory at home. Jessica Richardson added 10 points with nine rebounds in the Darts lopsided win.

RICH 54, JACKSON HOLE, WYO. 45: Rich had four players score in double-digits, led by Alisa Petersen with 22, to help them get the victory in the Flaming Gorge Classic against Jackson Hole, Wyoming and improve to 4-1 on the season.

BOUNTIFUL 69, WEBER 56: Bountiful's 21-9 advantage after the first quarter was too much to come back from for Weber and Bountiful held on for the tough road victory. Ashley Eyring sank three 3-pointers and scored a game-high 23 points for the Braves.

CYPRUS 55, HUNTER 38: Thanks to a monster double-double from Abby Barrett and a great defensive performance from Marquessa Gilson, Cyprus easily defeated Hunter. Barrett ended with 14 points and 22 rebounds while Gilson added 14 points.

CANYON VIEW 47, ENTERPRISE 42: After coughing up a fourth quarter lead, Canyon View regrouped in overtime to edge Enterprise at the Sevier Valley Center. Josie Platt led the Falcons with 14 points, with Kenzie Evans and Kasidee Perkins adding 11 points each.

DESERT HILLS 45, JUAB 28: Led by Blair Bliss, who scored a game-high 16 points, the Thunder roared past Wasps at the Sevier Valley Center. Desert Hills jumped out to an early lead, outscoring Juab 11-4 in the first quarter.
