Utah Utes football: Utes to play Fresno State in 2014-15

Summary

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah and Fresno State have agreed to a home-and-home football series. Although an official announcement is pending, the Utes and Bulldogs are scheduled to meet Sept. 6, 2014, in Salt Lake City and Sept. 19, 2015, in Fresno, Calif.

Utah and BYU won't meet those years, but the rivals are scheduled to play on a yet-to-be determined date in 2016 at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

A look at Utah's upcoming nonconference schedules:

2013 — Aug. 29 vs. Utah State; Sept. 7 vs. Weber State; TBD at BYU.

2014 — Aug. 28 vs. Idaho State; Sept. 6 vs. Fresno State; Sept. 20 at Michigan.

2015 — Sept. 3 vs. Michigan; Sept. 12 vs. Utah State; Sept. 19 at Fresno State.

2016 — Sept. 1 vs. Southern Utah; TBD vs. BYU.
