PROVO — The BYU-Utah State basketball game, scheduled for Wednesday night, is expected to be postponed after Aggie junior Danny Berger collapsed and stopped breathing during practice Tuesday.
According to reports, Berger was revived and breathing again before going to the hospital in Logan. Berger was then transported to the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray. According to the Logan Herald Journal, Berger was in stable but critical condition.
Berger, 22, averages 7.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game for Utah State. He started 25 of the final 31 games last year for the Aggies.
As of 10:30 p.m., Tuesday, there was no official announcement about the status of Wednesday's game. The Herald Journal reported that the game had been postponed.

I am sorry to hear about Danny, and wish him the best.
But when I played ball, we didn't postpone or cancel games because one player wasn't healthy. That is what the sixth man and the rest of the players are for.
