MILLARD — Many of the state's top wrestling programs, including four state champs from a year ago, gathered in Fillmore over the weekend for the prestigious Iron Man Duels.
Defending 4A state champion Maple Mountain, and its three returning individual state champs — Britain Carter, Grant LaMont and Jesse Carlisle — swept the team title with a perfect 10-0 record.
Defending 5A state champion Pleasant Grove finished second with a 9-1 record, losing only to Maple Mountain. Defending 3A champ Delta finished tied for third with Mountain Crest at 8-2, while defending 2A champ Millard tied Payson for fifth with 7-3 records.
