Summary

For Utah, high school graduation figures released by the U.S. Department of Education this week held nothing but bad news. The worst of that news? If you are a Latino student here, your chances of graduating in the 2010-11 school year were only slightly better than if you were a public school student in Washington, D.C.

Thinking in general may help. We need to stop villifying education and knowledge, and trying to replace it with superstition.
