Four decades ago, the Arab oil embargo consigned Americans to gas lines. Odd-even rationing became routine, and everyone with a passing interest in energy policy heard regular predictions that the planet was nearing "peak oil."
Don't get too excited about this sudden 'abundance'. The
exploration that supports it is driven totally by high prices. And, we're
just using technology to go through what little we have much faster.
I'm SURE it had nothing to do with yesterday's Buicks getting 8 mpg,
vs. today's Japanese cars getting 40+ mpgs.The
actual "Human Ingenuity" reamins on the side of the Progressive Liberals
It is interesting how both sides (liberals and conservatives) want to take
credit, throw discredit to the other side, and malign others offensively.In reality we can thank both sides for representing perspective, vision,
and values. When
