I think it's a great idea, and the glasses cam in the picture looks to be the Looxcie brand. Not HD quality, but I'd say enough for accountability. Be thankful the PD isn't asking for GoPro camera gear.
Body cameras were just purchased for the Park Service Rangers at Grand Canyon NP. The ones they use, however, are worn on the officer's uniform and record in full HD. New technology is definitely capable of producing better accountability More..
