"Americans not only lack the time to attend church these days, they also lack the time to even think about it."
It's not just lack of time. It's lack of desire of being disillusioned anymore.
I disagree with Southernmiss that he was a "great example" to the nation for Mormonism. What can you take away from his example? That it's okay to lie and say ANYTHING in order to win. Not much of an example, imho.
Indifference is the ideal attitude to have toward religion.
Ignore it and hopefully, it will just disappear without causing anymore strife, suffering, and death.
