The Kauri Sue Hamilton School is a center-based school for students with significant disabilities. The community service project called Wheelchairz on Ice was created by Skyline High School students Nandini Deo and Marianne Newell. The service project gave the disabled students the experience of ice skating at no cost to the school, the students or their families.
