The BYU basketball team is set to host its first exhibition game of the season Friday (7 p.m., BYUtv) when the Cougars take on Southeastern Oklahoma State.
On Wednesday, BYU staged its annual Cougar Tipoff with Tyler Haws scoring a game-high 26 points in a 84-70 victory for the Blue team. Brandon Davies led the White squad with 20 points and seven rebounds.
Southeastern Oklahoma State returns three of its top five scorers from last season, including Urald King, who averaged 11.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game a year ago.
