Mia Love is a superb example of a conservative leader. As mayor of Saratoga Springs, she was approached by citizens who wanted a library. She recognized that they couldn't build a library without going into significant debt, so she challenged the citizens to recruit others and use $10,000 in city seed money to collect books, raise funds and create a local library.
They rose to the challenge, and she joined with them in donating hundreds of hours of service to build and staff their library in an unused space in the basement of the city building. What an amazing success story; the local citizens built a library and a community.

That's typical of the attitude towards education in Utah.
Instead of building a good facility fully staffed professionals with new books, they find some unused basement, with volunteers, with old crummy books that no one wanted More..
Mia sounds like a fantastic community organizer! All my repub friends have told me over the past 4 years that this is a bad trait not a good one.
When I went onto her website a few weeks ago I found nothing of substance. I clicked on her, More..
Where was she during the fire and flooding going on in her city? Why does a city the size of Saratoga Spring need a mayor and a city manager? Is she taking a collection to fix the city's infrastructure problems? I want to know.
