In regards to Jay Evensen's column, "Early voting for 2012 election has become ridiculous political tool," (Oct. 14): I am one of those early voters. I have known for a long who I was going to vote for. Who would like to see money spent on ads for elections instead of put to a more worthy cause?

So far, early voting totals show a huge lead for President Obama. Maybe that's what Mr. Evenson was so upset about.
