Keith Van Horn let media know he would sign with the University of Utah in November. He averaged nearly 22 points and nine rebounds per game for Diamond Bar High (Calif.) during the 1991-92 season. USC, Penn State, Arizona State, Cal and other schools recruited Van Horn. He would end up as the leading scorer in Utah and Western Athletic Conference history with 2,542 points and was a consensus first team All-American. During Van Horn's career, Utah won 98 games and reached the Elite 8.

This brought back some great memories. My family had season tickets in the Huntsman center for years, and I went to almost every home game when Van Horn was playing- he was my favorite. I still remember his multiple buzzer beaters in the Wac More..
