NEW YORK — The Houston Texans are the first team to hang on to the top spot in the AP Pro32 power rankings.
A week after becoming the fourth team in as many weeks to ascend to No. 1, Houston proved it belonged there with a resounding 38-14 rout of the Tennessee Titans to remain unbeaten in four games.
The Texans receive 11 first-place votes and 382 points from the 12-person panel of media members who regularly cover the NFL. Atlanta (4-0) remains second with 369 points, and Arizona — the NFL's other unbeaten team — is fifth with one first-place vote and 342 points.
St. Louis makes the biggest jump, improving 10 spots to 19th after its win over Seattle, which takes the biggest tumble, eight places to 17th.
Winless Cleveland is 32nd and last for the second straight week.
