GRANTSVILLE 37, UINTAH 19: Grantsville got off to a great start, outscoring Uintah 17-0 in the first quarter. Uintah took a 19-17 lead in the fourth quarter, but Ky Fisher's interception return and Devin Adams' 60-yard fumble recovery sealed the win for the Cowboys.

BRIGHTON 17, PLEASANT GROVE 16: Brighton scored late in the game to get a dramatic come-from-behind win over Pleasant Grove. The Bengals were able to keep their perfect season intact for at least another week with the win. Brighton's Brady McCloyn scored the game-winning touchdown on a 31-yard run with four minutes remaining. Skyler Munsen had given Pleasant Grove the lead earlier in the quarter on a 7-yard touchdown pass from Michael Anderson.

JUAN DIEGO 49, GRANGER 7: What was supposed to be an exciting matchup between undefeated teams turned into a blowout as Juan Diego's Nick Markosian was 7-of-9 through the air for 240 yards and two touchdowns. Granger suffered mightily from the center-quarterback exchange, putting the ball on the turf eight times -- three of which resulted in turnovers.

SUMMIT ACADEMY 73, WHITEHORSE 0: Summit Academy notched another blowout victory, this time on the road against Whitehorse. The Bears improved to 4-1 overall in the school's first ever football season.

BINGHAM 34, COTTONWOOD 14: Tonga Manu rushed for a pair of touchdowns and Michael Green booted a pair of field goals as Bingham easily wrapped up its preseason schedule with a convincing win over winless Cottonwood.

DUCHESNE 37, DIAMOND RANCH 7: Matt Muir posted a kick return touchdown of 99 yards and later added a 30-yard score to lead the Eagles in the home victory.

LONE PEAK 27, WEST 14: Baron Gajkowski threw a pair of touchdowns as Lone Peak eked out a nonregion victory over a surprisingly tough West team.
