2A EAST
MANTI 3, GRAND 0: Manti's amazing teamwork led to the 3-0 victory, while Heidi Richardson recorded the shutout. Marciella Reyes, Mikeala Cox and Kelsie Geroge scored the goals.
RICHFIELD 4, GUNNISON 0: Lydia Foster scored two goals, and Richfield's tough defense managed to hold Gunnison scoreless. Maddy Lou Jerome recorded the shutout.
2A NORTH
WATERFORD 7, LEGACY PREP 0: Seven different players scored for the Ravens in their lopsided victory. Caroline Coats, who had one of the goals, assisted on three others.
ROWLAND HALL 3, SOUTH SUMMIT 0: Rowland Hall started out strong scoring two goals. They finished the game with one more goal scored in the second half.
ST. JOSEPH 6, LAYTON CHRISTIAN 0: St. Joseph's Katie Panushka and Katie Weil had a spectacular game, with each scoring two goals in the region victory. Ali Koehler recorded the shutout.
2A WEST
MILLARD 1, PAROWAN 0: After two scoreless halves of soccer, Emily Barber scored the winning goal in the sixth minute of overtime for Millard.
REGION 1
FREMONT 6, SYRACUSE 1: London Bolos had a outstanding game between the Fremont posts, allowing only Logan Harker to slip through to score the goal. Fremont's Mariah Elmer had a hat trick in the region rout.
NORTHRIDGE 4, WEBER 2: Northridge stormed back to score all four goals in the second half, made by four different players, while having a solid defense from Melissa Roman and Morgan Parry.
DAVIS 3, LAYTON 2: Layton's Haley Elmore scored the tying goal with one minute left in the game to send it into overtime. After a rough battle in overtime, Davis' Maddy Garlock scored the winning goal.
REGION 2
TAYLORSVILLE 3, HUNTER 2: Taylorsville took the victory in the first five minutes of overtime. Abi Black scored two goals, while Megan Moser scored the other goal.
VIEWMONT 8, KEARNS 0: Viewmont's Laura Essig bagged four goals, and Abbie Flandro netted a hat trick while Karrie Pead sunk the last score for the Vikings' region shutout.
GRANGER 0, WEST 5: Granger scored their first four goals in the the first half, as Graysee Murphy finished with an outstanding two goals. Allercee Fischer recorded the shutout.
REGION 3
JORDAN 5, WEST JORDAN 1: Tori Smith netted a pair of goals for Jordan, and also dished out a pair of assists to help the Beetdiggers down West Jordan at home.
BRIGHTON 6, COTTONWOOD 0: Bounced back nicely from its heart-breaking loss to No. 1 Alta with a very routine region victory over Cottonwood.
ALTA 8, COPPER HILLS 0: Madie Lyons found the back of the net twice, as Alta dominated with a seven-goal first half. Elyssa Hashimoto recorded the shutout for the Hawks.
REGION 4
BINGHAM 3, RIVERTON 0: Bingham's Stacia Carroll, Courtney Millgate and Carla Swensen all scored goals in the blowout victory over Riverton. Maddie Loftus recorded the Miner shutout.
LEHI 1, AMERICAN FORK 0: Meagan Kauffman netted the lone Lehi goal in the game, while Juli Gibson recorded the shutout in region play.
