CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Vice President Joe Biden says he's on a mission to move America forward amidst the worst economic crisis in a generation.
In prepared remarks for the Democratic convention, Biden says Americans find themselves at the hinge of history, deciding between two presidential candidates who have "fundamentally different" visions of the future.
He said Romney believes that in the global economy, it doesn't much matter where U.S. firms put their money or create jobs, but Obama wants to create and keep jobs in America.
Biden was re-nominated as President Barack Obama's No. 2 Thursday evening.
