Here's a recap of Thursday's high school volleyball action:

REGION 9

SNOW CANYON DEF. CANYON VIEW 25-15, 25-15, 25-16, Snow Canyon's fantastic offensive led to the easy sweep of three sets.

HURRICANE DEF. PINE VIEW 25-17, 25-22, 25-13, The Tigers had a clean sweep taking all three games against Pine View. Hurricane's Brook Gubler had 12 kills. Hannah Rich and Addie Edwards each had three aces.

DESERT HILLS DEF. CEDAR 25-13, 25-10, 25-14 Lindsay Jones had nine aces while Blair Bliss had 11 kills in Desert Hills' swift three-set win.

REGION 11

STANSBURY DEF. BEAR RIVER 25-19, 25-11, 23-25, 25-19 Marlee Flint had 14 kills while Erica Alvy had nine kills and eight aces to lead Stansbury over Bear River.

BEN LOMOND DEF. OGDEN 25-21, 25-12, 25-17, Despite the loss Ogden had a great game, with Chezarae Garcia recording 8 kills, 1 solo block and 1 dig.

MORGAN DEF. GRANTSVILLE 25-10, 25-11, 25-23, Anna Christensen had seven kills while Whitney Turner dished out four kills.

NONREGION

AMERICAN FORK DEF. HERRIMAN 24-26, 13-25, 25-15, 25-16, 15-8 American Fork's tough defense led to a victory in the fifth set.

BINGHAM DEF. BRIGHTON 25-13, 25-14, 25-16, Bingham took all three sets in the victory. Megan Boudreaux had six kills and five blocks. Lexi had six kills.

FREMONT DEF. BONNEVILLE 25-10, 24-26, 26-24, 25-22,Fremont's tough defensive efforts led to the four-set road victory.

JUDGE MEMORIAL DEF. COTTONWOOD 25-15, 25-13, 25-19, Regan Briesacher and Sydney Schafer both had eight kills while Kennedy Wortman and Kenzie King had six kills each. Taylor Gustafson dished out 24 assists while Lauren Naatz had 19 digs and four aces.

ROCKWELL DEF. MERIT ACADEMY 25-19, 29-27, 25-15, Rockwell's tough defense led to the three set sweep against Merit Academy. Maddie Wilson had four digs and 12 assists; Kirsten Largent had seven kills; and Zjani Clark had six ace serves.

MOUNTAIN CREST DEF. OLYMPUS 25-19, 25-18, 25-15, Mountain Crest dominated the game taking all three sets. Katie Harvey had seven kills. Milanna Barnes also had seven kills.

BOX ELDER DEF. WEBER 26-24, 25-15, 25-27, 25-19,Stephanie Craspe had eight kills, two blocks; Ellie Bennett had seven kills; and Mitzi Munns had seven kills, two blocks, and 11 digs for Box Elder.

WEST JORDAN DEF. GRANGER 25-14, 25-17, 17-25, 22-25, 15-9 Lile Havili had 16 kills and Davaina Tui had nine kills in the close loss to West Jordan.

SYRACUSE DEF. ROY 25-11, 25-13, 25-12, Lizzy Reich had a great game with 8 kills, 8 service aces and 7 total blocks. Setters Brickell Soifua and Brook Follett had 28 assists between the two and outside hitters Maggie Hasen had 14 kills and Kara Mudrow added 10 kills. Libero Takenna Hamblin had 4 service aces and 10 digs.

EMERY DEF. CARBON 23-25, 26-28, 25-22, 25-18, 15-10 Emery won a thrilling five-set match against Carbon win winning the five two sets.

WEST DEF. HIGHLAND 25-19, 16-25, 25-20, 19-25, 16-14 In a thrilling five-setter, West pulled out a 16-14 win in the final set to clinch the nonregion victory.

ENTERPRISE DEF. RICHFIELD 25-27, 25-21, 17-25, 25-23, 15-6 Riley Lyman had 17 kills, 23 digs and six blocks, while Dakota Robinson had 12 kills, 14 digs and one block to lead Enterprise to the victory over Richfield.

SOUTH SEVIER DEF. BEAVER 26-24, 30-28, 19-25, 25-22,South Sevier triumphed after a hiccup in the third set.

PAROWAN DEF. BRYCE VALLEY 25-9, 25-21, 25-11, Chennin Benson had seven service aces and eight kills to assist the Rams' victory.

MILLARD DEF. WAYNE 25-15, 16-25, 25-22, 25-10,Millard's Amber Barton had 10 kills, while Cherie Shields added 37 assists and Ashley Whitaker had 19 digs.

PANGUITCH DEF. KANAB 25-18, 25-22, 25-16, Panguitch rolled to the nonregion victory over Kanab. Macey Stephenson and Katelyn Parking combined for 17 kills.
