SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Ryan Langerhans led off the seventh inning with a home run to snap a 3-3 tie and send the Salt Lake Bees to a 4-3 win over the Sacramento River Cats on Saturday night.
Greg Smith (9-9) earned the win, as he went six and one-third innings and allowed three runs, two earned, on six hits with five strikeouts and two walks.
OWLZ 8, BREWERS 7: At Helena, Mont., Joel Capote broke a 5-5 tie in the top of the eighth inning with a RBI single and Wendell Soto had three RBIs, including a huge two-run single in the eighth at Kindrick Legion Field. Orem's defense struggled tonight, committing four errors, but Michael Morin was fantastic in his 1.2 innings and Capote made a game-saving catch in the 8th.
RAPTORS 11, MUSTANGS 8: At Ogden, Raptors catcher went 3-for-4 with two doubles and 3 RBIs.
